Job Description:

The ZED Assessor (Bronze Level) will be responsible for conducting Bronze-category assessments under the MSME Sustainable (ZED) Certification Scheme as per QCI-approved guidelines. The role includes evaluating MSMEs through on-site or remote assessments, reviewing submitted documents and evidence, identifying non-conformities, and ensuring complete adherence to ZED Bronze-level assessment protocols.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Conduct ZED Bronze-level assessments of MSMEs as per QCI-approved criteria.
  • Review and verify documents, & evidence submitted by MSMEs.
  • Identify non-conformities for each deviation observed.
  • Support MSMEs by providing clarity on scheme requirements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Completion of assigned audits within the defined QCI timelines.
  • Maintaining ≥95% report acceptance rate by QCI without rework.
  • Ensuring 100% adherence to scheme requirements and CB protocols.
  • Demonstrating professional conduct with zero complaints, bias, or conflict of interest.
  • Maintaining zero discrepancies between physical records and portal-uploaded data.
Educational Qualification & Experience
  • Minimum Qualification: Graduate in Engineering / Science / Management or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Diploma or Certification in Quality / Environment / Lean / Productivity Tools.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, quality management, or related domains.
  • Certification: Valid ZED Assessor – Bronze Level Certification from QCI.

  • Strong understanding of ZED model, criteria, and Bronze-level indicators.
  • Analytical, report-writing, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and impartial judgment.
  • Familiar with digital portals and audit management systems.
